Evidence-based HRM: a Global Forum for Empirical Scholarship promotes empirical scholarship in the Human Resources (HR) arena and is committed to publishing scholarly empirical research articles that have a high impact on the HR field as a whole. The objective of the journal is to disentangle empirically how talent drives the performance of employees, their organizations and ultimately society as a whole. To this end, it publishes high quality papers using econometric and statistical methods to fill the gap between conceptual arguments and observed data.

 NEW LIBRARY WEBSITE

 

Our library has developed a new library website. The aim is to provide a clearer design, more engaging content and better usability. The new design, with its more visual approach, has allowed us to feature images from our special collections which is called "Collection Highlights".All the information and content have been made visible to the users. For example, there’s a lot of new online services specifically for students and other users, which includes online chatting, library news and events and these section are now separated from the library announcement and highlights. The Library site also has a new URL: which is : library.unirazak.edu.my.

Furthermore, all the guidelines to resources have now been redeveloped on Referencing Guide. These include the Information Kiosk, EndNote, APA and MLA citation, searching for printed and online books and also exam paper digital repository.  Besides that, Information for external users have been gathered and separated into two sections; Alumni and visitors. Hopefully this will make it easier for users to find out more about the services we're providing.Please do visit the new library website at library.unirazak.edu.my

Library User Satisfaction Survey

Assalamualaikum and good day,

The University library service is carrying out a survey to find out what users think of the services that we provide.The user satisfaction surveys seek input from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak students,lecturers and staff about their usage of the services, collections, printing and scanning, and so on. The questionnaire also designed to identify the level of satisfaction of users at Universiti Tun Abdul Razak towards the University Library's facilities, online services and the library staff itself.The findings of this questionnaire will assist the library authorities to know the level of user satisfaction towards the services provided and strategic relevant approaches to meet your current needs.

Universiti Tun Abdul Razak Library

LIBRARY CLOSED ON DEEPAVALI & AWAL MUHARRAM.

Please be informed that the library will be closed on 13th November 2012 (Tuesday) for Deepavali celebration and 15th November 2012 (Thursday) for Awal Muharam celebration. The library will open as usual on wednesday,friday and weekends with regular opening hours.

CLJ LAW, EBRARY AND EMERALD USER TRAINING SESSIONS.

On 9th & 10th October 2012, our library has conducted online database training for three (3) online database providers (CLJ Law, ebrary & Emerald) which emphasizes to familiarize users with the distinct features and functions of each online databases and to develop their skills and knowledge in seeking for information sources via online. 

20 participants has joined the training which consists of students and lecturer from various faculties.

A visit from UNITAR International University Library.

Universiti Tun Abdul Razak library would like to say thank you to the librarians from Knowledge Management  Centre , UNITAR International University who have visited UNIRAZAK library on October 2, 2012.

The main goal of this visit is to create a network of information sharing, knowledge and technology in the field of librarianship between UNITAR International University and UNIRAZAK.
